PADI Freediver Instructor Course
Share the fun and bliss of Freediving with others when you become a PADI Freediver Instructor! Once certified as a PADI Freediver Instructor, you'll be able to teach PADI Basic Freediver, Freediver, and Discover Freediving. The instructor course includes a combination of classroom sessions, pool sessions, and open water sessions. Throughout the course, you'll learn about the PADI system of teaching, perfect your demonstrations, perform simulated rescues, and practice teaching in both the pool and open water environments.
To take your Freediver Instructor Course, you'll need to:

Be at least 18 years old

Be PADI Master Freediver (or equivalent) or be a PADI OWSI holding at least a PADI Advanced Freediver rating with sufficient freediving experience

Demonstrate a high level of freediving proficiency

Have a current Emergency First Responder certification (or equivalent Primary/Secondary Care within 24 months)

Have a valid Diving Medical Form signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

Recommended: PADI Oxygen Provider Instructor Course, which will certify you to teach the vital skill of O2 administration to your freedivers.
